You are strongly urged to avoid Sharp Web Services Our visitors have had horrible experiences with Sharp Web Services -- apparently Sharp disappeared without a trace, leaving all of their customers in the dark. Read reviews here.

I'm currently in the process of attempting to get a refund from this terrible host. I've had "service" (notice the quotation marks) with them for about 17 days, only 5 days of which I've had actual service. My problems began when I attempted to register for my plan on their website, only to get a slew of page errors. After registering with them over the phone instead, I had to wait a total of 12 days for the service to finally become active. After about 5 phone calls to tech-support, they finally admitted that the person in charge of DNS addressing failed to connect my domain name to the host. Upon reporting the problem to a tech, I was told that my service would be up that same day (which it finally was), and that I should report the problem to the CEO, aka, "The Big Cheese". Well, I did, but the SOB never got back to me with any sort of apology or reconciliation for all the stress the situation has caused me. This host CLEARLY doesn't give a flying f**k about their customers or the service they provide. I have little doubt that I will be facing a HUGE challenge to get my money back. Wish me luck. A few more things to note: 1. You don't get real email accounts with this service. You have no domain-specific incoming server, and you have absolutely NO outgoing server. I was told that I would have to use my ISP's outgoing mail server to send mail even though I was using Internet Express's incoming server. 2. When you want to add additional email accounts, you have to fill out a form, send it to a person in charge, and then wait for them to get back to you. I've now been waiting 5 whole days for them to get back to me on two accounts that I've tried to add. 3. They instantly give your email address out to SPAMers. Today, I just received junk mail on my new email account. Isn't that lovely? DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THESE GUYS!!!!!!!! |

Our non-profit organization used internet express for one year and had nothing but problems with their services. Our emails were lost and we called them many times to ask them to fix the problem. They were reluctant to admit the problem and when they did admit that they had lost our emails, they said they would fix it but it was never fixed. On one technical call, the support person asked me to reboot my computer and call back, he would not stay on the line while I restarted the computer and then as was typical, I was put on hold for over a half hour. We were also billed automatically for a 2nd year even though we had not renewed our contract and they are now refusing to refund the money. As a small non-profit organization serving low-income clients, internet express has cost us valuable time, money, and work related emails thus punishing the needy people we serve. |

I had an account with Internet Express for a year, and it was a constant headache. We had countless emails that were completely lost (which they finally admitted was there fault). Technical support and customer service was miserable. On multiple occasions we were told that someone would get back to us, and nobody ever did. Then to top it all off, after I had switched to another provider, Internet Express automatically renewed my account and charged my credit card for an additional year of service. They refuse to refund my money. Do not sign up with this company!!! |
